Best Friends
Friends are little blessings,
Sent from above,
To guide and support us,
With all their love…
Sent from above,
To guide and support us,
With all their love…
Friends are little blessings,
With a great big heart,
Sharing their wisdom,
And all that they are…
With a great big heart,
Sharing their wisdom,
And all that they are…
Friends are little blessings,
Angels in disguise,
Hugs straight from heaven,
Under the guise,
Of a caring friend,
But underneath you’ll find,
A loving gentle soul with a lot to give.
Angels in disguise,
Hugs straight from heaven,
Under the guise,
Of a caring friend,
But underneath you’ll find,
A loving gentle soul with a lot to give.
Friends are blessings indeed,
And I’m ever so grateful,
You were sent to me.
And I’m ever so grateful,
You were sent to me.

Bulk Herb Hair Treatment
In June I was blessed with the honor of helping my wonderful sister do a Hair Treatment from the Bulk Herb store
It was an experience.
It was kindof smelly.
It was really kindof cool!
& it made for some good memories! (: What you'll need:
(Carrie did the Strawberry Blonde. They have several different hair colors)
2 Eggs
Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
Olive Oil
Some type of floor/table cover.
Rat Tail Comb, Gloves, 2 Walmart Sacks
2 Warm Towels
A wonderful person with Hair that needs beautified! (:
There are Videos on Bulk Herb Store's website for better instructions.
Here are some pictures of the process:
Gooey, Smelly stuff. (:
Getting ready......
haha. gooey mess! (:
Let it set.
I forgot to take pictures of the rest of it!
You let it set in your hair & then lightly rinse it out & wear it yucky for 24 hours! (: I was really fun, now I'm waiting until she comes back so we can do mine!
Have you ever tried a Hair Treatment?!

Fresh - Dried Cilantro
This spring I had a Cilantro running out of my ears.
But of course I had nothing to use it in so I decided to try something new & dry it!
But of course I had nothing to use it in so I decided to try something new & dry it!
After I harvested it I washed it in my salad spinner,
it was so handy & alot easier than washing each stalk by itself.
I then placed it in a thin layer on a Jelly-Roll pan and placed it in a
170* oven for a couple hours or until it was all dry & crunchy.
I found the easiest way to get the leaves off the stems was to put it all in a bag & just crumple it all up. The leaves crumbled but the stems stayed in big long pieces so then you can just take them all out of the bag as once. It was really pretty easy! (:
Now, it is in the freezer waiting on all the other vegetables to get ready so we can make salsa.
I tried it a few weeks ago & thought it had alot more flavor than the Dried Cilantro I had purchased from the bulk food store.
How do you harvest/dry your Cilantro when it's ready alot earlier than everything else?
